The students serve in our cafe on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 11am & 1.30pm.  Please pop along for a cuppa, pizza, toastie or a delicious slice of cake and support the students,

House of Pottery is a calming pottery painting and wellbeing studio in Otley. Our ethos is rooted in inclusivity, we provide a calm, supportive environment where people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and anyone seeking space to unwind, can thrive. We believe creativity nurtures confidence, connection, and wellbeing, and our studio is a place where everyone can explore, create, and feel at home.

About the Beyond 19 Program: 

The development of Beyond 19 will provide students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) valuable work experience, life skills training, and social interaction opportunities, preparing them for a more independent transition to adulthood—life beyond the traditional school years. The collaboration and mentoring from House of Pottery is the first stepping stone into creating a visionary, unique opportunity for pupils with SEND. One in which they can flourish and reach their potential. Showing alone the way that having a special need or disability is not a barrier to living a full and fruitful life.
